Top 3 most likely to succeed in Eurovision 2023

Everyone’s favorite seems to be Sweden. The Swedish representative is Loreen, who won the competition in 2012 with the hit Euphoria. Now she participates in the Eurovision Song contest for the second time, now with a song called Tattoo.

Finland’s representative in Eurovision, Käärijä, has made a name for himself with his song Cha Cha Cha and his personal style of performing. Many operators give him second place in terms of odds. Eurovision betting may therefore pay off if you bet on Finland’s second Eurovision win in history. Eurovision odds for Finland are currently under 4.

Ukraine is also expected to do well again, even though it doesn’t have the number one favorite position this year. The participant is Tvorchi with the song Heart of Steal. Eurovision Odds for Ukraine are around 5 and 6.

All countries have now announced their representatives. Here are the favorites for 2023.

Betting in Eurovision Song Contest

Eurovision has become a popular betting event gathering hundreds of millions of viewers every year from all over Europe and even outside of it. The greatest fans are involved already from the countries’ own pre-qualifications all the way to the finals.

Bets are mostly placed on the Eurovision final. The main betting targets are the Eurovision results, i.e. the winner or the top 3. Professionals and more serious betting enthusiasts, on the other hand, collect not only the winning bets but also slightly more special targets.

It’s also worth checking out the slightly more unusual Eurovision betting sites, as you can also find the high odds coveted by bettors.

Bets can be placed in advance for both the semi-finals and the final itself – also as live bets.

Rule changes in Eurovision 2023

In 2023, there will be new rules for the voting process. They wanted to give more power to the public’s votes (as it should be!), so the finalists are now chosen entirely by the votes of the public.

Another novelty is that countries outside the games can also vote for their favorite. These votes are added together and have the same weight together as each participating country.

Eurovision live streaming

Despite its great popularity, rarely does any betting site show Eurovision in it’s live stream service. Mostly the betting sites focus on offering Eurovision odds.

Perhaps the reason for the lack of live streaming is that many countries already show the competition for free. Though streaming might be more popular now, since starting 2023, also voters from outside of the participating countries are allowed to vote.
